The introduction! Always a funny one. How to explain what I’m all about in a few short paragraphs.

I’m Laura and simply put, I love social media. I hate it too, but that’s another conversation. For brands, enabling them to connect with their audience in the most effective way, I don’t think there’s a better channel.

I’m ambitious; I don’t think good is good enough, and am always pushing to ensure every single piece of activity is working as hard as it can. I strongly believe social and influencer relations doesn’t, and shouldn’t, just do one thing. It can help with traffic and revenue, reach new audiences, entertain, inform, inspire and build truly meaningful relationships. Importantly, it has a role to play across every step of the customer journey. And it should.

 

I have over a decade of agency experience, leading a social content agency, in particular focused on client strategy requirements. Over the last five years, I have led the social, influencer and PR function at FatFace, increasing the brand’s website traffic from organic social by over 420% with revenue from organic social increasing over 400%. I have grown Instagram engagement by over 600% and the audience by 290%.
